Introducing Breastvest

An age-old problem that many breastfeeding mums find is that they have to get a whole new wardrobe to fit in with their choice of breastfeeding, because if you don't buy specialist nursing clothes, it can be tricky feeding when out and about. After forking out for a maternity wardrobe, you may not decide on whether to breastfeed until your baby is born, so does this mean a whole new wardrobe of drop-cup tops, baggy clothes, and keeping your baby tummy covered.

Introducing the breastfeeding mum's new best friend - the BreastVest. You wear this neat vest underneath your normal (yes NORMAL, no need for separate nursing tops) clothes. It is designed to be used with a feeding bra so you'll still need to get some of those, but it fits neatly below your bra, keeping your tummy covered. This means that you can just lift up your normal top and baby can feed easily, whilst your modesty (well, tummy anyway) stays comfortably covered. The Breastvest is available in 2 colours - black or white - and sizes from XS (UK 8-10) to XL (UK 16-18) so is easy to size and will match your pre-pregnancy wardrobe easily. Why buy anything else? With 1 top at £14.99 or 1 of each colour (same size) for £25.99, your nursing wardrobe is sorted!

But what if this doesn't sound like the solution for you but you still feel conscious of breastfeeding when in public? Or your baby is easily distracted? The Bebe Au Lait breastfeeding cover allows baby to focus on the job in hand (ie. lunch) whilst you feel safe that you are not exposed to passing eyes. It is essentially a shawl with a collar/strap you place around your neck. The top of the Bebe Au Lait is rigid and its shape can be adjusted so you can see baby whilst he or she is feeding, and it allows air flow underneath the cover. No-one else can see your baby and it creates an environment to minimise distractions for baby when feeding.  The cover is 100% cotton, and comes in lovely designs so you can choose one to fit your personality. Priced at £27.50, Bebe Au Lait has you (and baby) covered!
